Two YoutTube videos have rocked the PlayStation Nation with their creepy depictions of gamers brought to the brink of tolerances by something referred to as PS 4.0. The first video reveals a game tester in an unknown facility in Japan, playing Modern Warfare 2 in 3D for the first time; the experience is so overwhelming he’s forced to look away. In the second, hysterical laughter is heard as the testing staff tries to locate the tester. What they find is both disturbing and awesome. Continue reading »

Those entered into the Xbox Live Preview Program broke the bad news to us: the Facebook integration built into the latest Xbox dashboard update wasn’t going to bring any meaningful or useful functions for gamers out-of-the-box. Sure, we’ll be getting screenshot functionality at some point, but as it stands it’s about connecting to your real life friends in a very manual way: boot up the Facebook dashboard app and browse photos or update your status. Something, it should be noted, that you’ve been able to do with the PS3 browser since it launched.
