2010 is the year that Rock Band goes into overdrive with the release of Rock Band 3. On top of the 1500 tracks available in the Rock Band family, Rock Band 3 is going to sport an incredible 83-song setlist with songs from some of the best bands of all time. This time they’ve got bands from across the planet AND bands that have never before been seen in a music game. Harmonix and EA have promised that weekly DLC releases are going to continue into the future as well.
There’s a ton of new gameplay here, and as a Rock Band fanatic I’m absolutely stoked. I’m pre-ordering the Squier Strat as soon as I can, and I’ll be adding the Midi connectors to my Drum Rocker and my Midi keyboard at home.
What’s that? Keyboards? YES! Rock Band 3 is going to include keyboard tracks, meaning that you’ll have a whole lot more to do in songs by The Who. This essential element, along with vocal harmonies, means you’ll get the most realistic Rock Band experience ever.
